ADVACAM comprises two independently managed technology spin-off companies, based in Czech Republic and Finland. Their combined expertise covers the full value chain from semiconductor sensor manufacturing and micro packaging to radiation imaging cameras, as well as development of imaging solutions for industrial and academic needs.
ADVACAM s.r.o, established in 2013, is a spin-off company from Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics at the Czech Technical University in Prague. The camera team in Czech Republic consists of renowned scientists, engineers and programmers with years of experience in electronics design, software and application of radiation imaging detectors. ADVACAM s.r.o commercializes Medipix technology developed at CERN, Switzerland. The company provides state-of-the-art hybrid photon counting detector solutions to their industrial customers’ imaging equipment with a scalable supply.
ADVACAM OY, established in 2012, is a spin-off company from VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. The semiconductor team in Finland has more than 30 years of experience in silicon sensor manufacturing and micro packaging technologies. ADVACAM OY works closely with its customers to find the optimal solution for their semiconductor module supply and streamlined logistics.
